What is Western Australia GATE and why take it?
GATE is designed to evaluate a student's abilities in the following categories: quantitative reasoning, thinking skills, reading comprehension and writing. The test is designed to qualify students for Gifted and Talented programs which group students into similar skill levels for an optimal learning pace.
What makes 240 Plus different to the other online exams?
240 Plus has many educational features that many other online websites do not.
While other GATE practice tests and GATE past papers only provide mock exams, there are four components to 240 Plus: Tutorial, Practice, Mock Exams, and Revision. These four components build up the essentials of preparing for the GATE and give your child the academic edge.
240 Plus allows students to identify their individual strengths and weaknesses through personalised progress tracking and tailor made revision quizzes. Through our platform, students will improve their test-taking ability and have confidence when tackling GATE.

Are 240 Plus questions the same style as GATE questions?
Yes. All questions are within the scope of the exam.
How can 240 Plus help my child prepare?
Once you purchase one of the 240 Plus packages, your child will then be able to start learning different concepts and methods to tackle the huge range of GATE questions.
After they have established foundations on a certain topic, they will be able to apply their newly gained knowledge to attempt similar questions in the practice component of 240 Plus. Once mastered, they can attempt Trial Exams under time pressure, which simulates the official GATE exam. The combination of these components will ensure your child is confident in an exam environment and all the areas of GATE.
Is the payment system on 240 Plus secure?
Yes, our payment system is powered by Stripe which has been audited and certified as a PCI compliant service provider. 240 Plus will not know your credit card details.
What if I am unsatisfied with 240 Plus?

If I subscribe to the monthly course, will I be charged automatically every month? How can I cancel the subscription to avoid future charges?
Yes, the monthly subscription will renew automatically each month. However, you can cancel at any time to avoid future charges. If you only plan to use the course for one month, you can cancel your subscription immediately after signing up and you will still retain access until the end of the billing period. To cancel your subscription, go to the same place in the store where you originally made the payment and follow the cancellation instructions.
